I had the wild pleasure of hosting a baby shower for my expecting Sister. I had so much fun borrowing the theme "Where the Wild Things Are". I had experienced this theme at a previous shower for Harrison, and tried to put my own spin on it. Here are a few of the ideas I ran with (captions are below pictures). My goal was to keep it comfy and cozy to compliment the Fall weather. By all means use my ideas - I'd love to help you create invitations if you wish, just contact me.
Over and over again, Green With Envy creates the most beautiful floral displays! This was a beautiful arrangement left in my dining room for me after giving birth to Harrison (thanks Gail-Lynn!).
I'm so looking forward to what they create for the winter holidays! If you're in the London area, be sure to pop by their shop in Wortley Village.
Coming to a mailbox near you! Jesse and I wanted a special way to say Thank You, and to share a cute picture of our newborn to our close friends and family! This double sided card was what we came up with! Feel free to use this idea - and if you need me to create one for you (in your own style) just contact me. :)
You can kid the world. But not your sister. ~Charlotte Gray
Love these things!
While visiting Winnipeg this Fall, our baby boy Harrison was honoured with a baby shower. This was hosted by my darling friend Jillian and her Mum. They went into incredible detail with the blue and gold theme - it was unbelievable. I was overwhelmed with the amount of love that filled the room that evening - such beautiful relationships that have stayed strong over the years, and distance! Thank you to all who blessed our little boy with your kind words and generous gifts.
Five years have flown by. So lucky to call you my husband - and now the Father of our baby! I enjoy doing life with you. xox
No theme suited the bride more than Kate Spade. The bright fun colours, playful prints, and feminine flare spoke perfectly to her personality and style. Here are some pictures of how my Mum and I pulled off a Kate Spade bridal shower!
The venue was Bergmann's on Lombard, our favourite place to host events. We had a delicious lunch, played three shower games, and had a few heartwarming and comical speeches honouring our bride! Hope this inspires you for your next hosting event! Contact me if you need me to whip you up some invites or menus!

I love the never ending cycle of fashion... in January and February we bought Fall/Winter 2015 for Saffron Road... Now all of our selections have arrived at the store. The fun really begins when we style different collections together. Customers then shop these looks and all of these luxe fashions leave our store, and find loving new homes. Before you know it- Spring 2016 has arrived and the fun begins again!
Above are a few looks we styled for our website. To see our entire Lookbook click here. Also be sure to watch the look book video below (created by Kris). The video highlights the layers, textures and movement of our garments. Enjoy - and happy shopping!
Two reasons I want to share this song - first being that I love it... and yes Harrison and I occasionally dance to it. Secondly that it was featured on my favourite TV show Scandal, and that September 20 Ms. Pope and President Fitz return to television! So Gladiators, pop that popcorn, pour yourself a (big) glass of red wine and cheers to a new season!
July 30, 2015 we welcomed Harrison Jack Lofthouse to this world

We are so in love with this precious little boy
This photo shoot took place on day three, and was shot by Kristoffer St Clair
Good news, and bad news. The bad news is that my dear friend Christian has left Toronto and has moved back to Winnipeg. The good news is that he has graduated and has opened up his own chiropractic clinic that is now accepting patients. Winnipeggers... book your first appointment here! Trust me, he's got your back!

A few photographs featuring our eclectic nursery - a little bit of this, a little bit of that, with a touch of gold!
Chicago is one of the big cities we had the chance to cross off our on our bucket this past April. My sister Patti was in Chi-Town for a large conference, so we were able to shack up together, and spend some much needed sister time together!!
Jesse and Patti enjoyed a Bulls game, while I enjoyed room-service! The hubby and I had fun exploring the city during our days a few highlights were our morning coffees at Eataly, an architectural boat tour, brunching/shopping/exploring Wicker Park and of course that Magnificent Mile! Needless to say, we will be visiting again soon!
Here are a few photographs from our adventure in the CHI - thanks to our canon, iphones & snap chat.
Thank you to our Ontario friends and family who spent the afternoon at our baby shower, celebrating and gifting our little boy. We are beyond blessed with the generous gifts, and memories made that day. A special thank you goes out to Maia, and Matt Stiller for hosting this event - to perfection. It was tailored to everything we love, and themed so perfectly - right down to the gold flatware! We are now beyond prepared for our little one to enter the world.
One of my work-perks this year was sitting front row of the Comrags Fall 2015 fashion show this past Toronto Fashion Week. Comrags happens to be one of my favourite collections, not to mention they're Canadian! I was so thrilled to experience the garments on the runway - and even more excited to "buy" them for Saffron Road!

Spring 2015 at Saffron Road was hand selected by myself and my partner in crime, Brianna. Six months prior to this season we jetted to Las Vegas and New York, as well many day trips to Toronto in hopes of finding our favourite fashions. Six months later these fashions are now filling Saffron Road's floor with pretty pastel palettes, and Navy claiming to be the new black...
Our Spring 2015 lookbook collects these trends, and presents them in a beautiful way. Enjoy & Shop!
The Easter bunny was kind to us this year, leaving little treats for everyone! The most darling of all was watching our niece and nephew hunt for eggs around the living room.
Jess and I had a little Easter hunt of our own... finding St. Catharine's finest doughnuts. The result being Beechwood Doughnuts - fresh, handmade doughnuts located at 5 James Street. Since we're collectively eating for three, we tried three different flavours... French Toast, Oreo and an Apple Fritter - all of them equally delicious!
We made a bittersweet final visit to Target... and purchased some albums for our upcoming Chicago road-trip. Nothing like some new music (to our jeep) for cruisin! See our selections below.
